KwaZulu-Natal's South Coast
KwaZulu Natal's South Coast, also known as the Hibiscus Coast, covers a distance of over 150kms and incorporates many popular holiday towns such as Amanzimtoti, Umgababa and Scottburgh closer to Durban and Hibberdene, Margate, Ramsgate and Port Edward further down the coast.
The coast line is dotted with excellent golf courses, nature reserves and trails, snorkeling and diving locations, fishing spots and peaceful resort towns.
The Aliwal Shoal is a well-known divers destination, with as many as 40 000 dives taking place each year. For the brave, Protea Banks further south is considered to be one of the world's best shark dives.
